The Van Meter Bulldogs crushed the host Woodward-Granger Hawks baseball team by a tally of 10-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now hold a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they host Underwood for a non-league bout on Saturday, June 15. Van Meter will face a Eagles team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.

Next, the Hawks face the West Central Valley Wildcats (Stuart, IA) in a West Central bout, on Monday, June 17. Woodward-Granger will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 6-9 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Creston (Creston, IA).
