The Creston Panthers routed the host Red Oak Tigers softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Carlisle topped Ballard (Huxley, IA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers now sport a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Harlan for a Hawkeye 10 battle on Monday, June 17. Red Oak will meet a Cyclones squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-17.
