The Le Mars Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Sioux City West Wolverines to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Le Mars moves its record to 13-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Missouri River game on Tuesday, June 18. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 12-13. Jefferson won 14-1 in their recent non-league game against Woodbury Central (Moville, IA)

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 17. Sioux City West will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 0-9 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA).
