The Lisbon Lions softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Starmont Stars to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lisbon improves its record to 15-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Northeast (Goose Lake, IA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, June 14. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 9-1. Northeast won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)

In their next game, the Stars clash with the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 17. Starmont will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 21-3 record after their 10-2 non-league win over North Linn (Troy Mills, IA).
