The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) baseball trounced the visiting East Union Eagles (Afton, IA), 15-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Perry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 14. Martensdale-St. Mary's will clash with a Bluejays team coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Greene County (Jefferson, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-11.

With the defeat, East Union drops to 7-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA) to clash with the Warhawks in a Pride of Iowa challenge on Monday, June 16. The Warhawks go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Southeast Warren won 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA)
