Iowa High School Softball - Storm Lake bounces Carroll

The Storm Lake Tornadoes softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Carroll Tigers to 2 in the Tornadoes non-league win on Friday.
The Tornadoes now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newell-Fonda for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 14. Storm Lake will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Carroll moves to 0-10 on the season. The Tigers host East Sac County (Lake View, IA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, June 14. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 7-3. East Sac County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
