In Friday's league match, the visiting Emmetsburg E'Hawks softball team scored a nice 19-5 win over the South Central Calhoun Titans.

The E'Hawks (1-10) will now prepare for their match against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels come into the Twin Lakes match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Sioux Central was routed by Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 6-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Titans confront the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) in a Twin Lakes match, on Monday, June 16. South Central Calhoun will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 1-9 record after their 9-6 league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
