The crowd at Friday's league bout between the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) and the visiting Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA), observed North Union's softball team get by Garner-Hayfield/Ventura by a tally of 4-0.

The Warriors (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Okoboji was routed by Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA), 13-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 14. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Kee (Lansing, IA).
