The Seymour Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 14. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Saints go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA).

The Sabers (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, East Marshall was routed by Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
