Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 14-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 17. Minooka will face a Knights squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Knights record now stands at 29-3.

With the loss, Yorkville falls to 25-5 on the campaign.
