Iowa High School Baseball - Oelwein loses to Charles City

The Charles City Comets baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Oelwein Huskies to 11 in the Comets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Comets (7-7) will now prepare for their match against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record.
The Huskies (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Sumner-Fredericksburg was overwhelmed by Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA), 10-6, in a non-league match.
