In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting North Iowa Bison softball team scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Rockford Warriors.

With the triumph, North Iowa moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bison travel to Forest City (Forest City, IA) to play the Indians in a Top of Iowa-West contest on Monday, June 17. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Forest City lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against North Union (Armstrong, IA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, June 17. Rockford will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record.
