The Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA), 21-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 16. Central Lee will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 22-5 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Keokuk drops to 1-10 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Washington (Washington, IA) to clash with the Demons in a Southeast challenge on Monday, June 16. The Demons go into the challenge with a record of 2-6.
