The Hinton Blackhawks baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Woodbine Tigers to 1 in the Blackhawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Blackhawks now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Treynor for a non-league test on Saturday, June 14. Hinton will play a Cardinals team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Woodbine drops to 8-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA) to play the Wildcats in a Rolling Valley test on Monday, June 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-7. Glidden-Ralston won 12-8 in their recent league test against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA)
