In Saturday's non-league match, the host Davis County Mustangs softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Sigourney Savages.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA). The Panthers come into the South Central match with a 1-9 record.

In their next game, the Savages battle the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar match, on Monday, June 16. Sigourney will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Hawks come into the match with a 6-8 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Moravia (Moravia, IA).
