The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) and the visiting Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), observed Maquoketa Valley's softball team get by Midland by a final score of 7-0.

The Wildcats (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Calamus-Wheatland tipped Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 16. Midland will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 13-8 league win over Starmont (Arlington, IA).
