With the triumph, Central City moves its record to 15-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, June 15. The Comets come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the River Kings clash with the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic game, on Monday, June 17. Clinton will attempt to move on its 2-19 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 12-2 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA).
