The Denver Cyclones softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Turkey Valley Trojans to 4 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Denver moves its record to 8-11 on the year. The Cyclones travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to clash with the Chickasaws in a non-league game on Saturday, June 15. The Chickasaws come into the game with a record of 5-5.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Central Warriors (Elkader, IA) in a Upper Iowa game, on Monday, June 17. Turkey Valley will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 12-11 league loss to West Central (Maynard, IA).
