The Moravia Mohawks softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Montezuma Braves to 6 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Moravia moves its record to 11-14 on the year. The Mohawks host Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league game on Monday, June 17. The Warhawks come into the game with a record of 13-2. Southeast Warren won 16-0 in their recent league game against East Union (Afton, IA)

In their next game, the Braves clash with the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar game, on Monday, June 17. Montezuma will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Tigerhawks come into the game with a 2-13 record after their 9-7 league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
