The Washington Demons bounced the visiting Keokuk Chiefs baseball team by a margin of 12-2 in Monday's league game.
The Demons (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Oskaloosa was overwhelmed by Indianola (Indianola, IA), 6-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Chiefs play the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a Southeast game, on Thursday, June 19. Keokuk will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Bloodhounds go into the game with a 4-12 record after their 13-3 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
