In Monday's league game, the visiting Lewis Central Titans baseball team scored a close 6-0 win over the Shenandoah Mustangs.
The Titans (16-5) will now prepare for their game against Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Cyclones go into the Hawkeye 10 game with a 13-6 record.
Next, the Mustangs play the Creston Panthers (Creston, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 game, on Tuesday, June 17. Shenandoah will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 12-7 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA).
