The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) and the host Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA), observed Lenox's softball team get by Central Decatur by a tally of 10-4.

The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their bout against Wayne (Corydon, IA). The Falcons go into the Pride of Iowa bout with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, Wayne tipped Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 11-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA) in a Pride of Iowa bout, on Tuesday, June 17. Central Decatur will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Warhawks go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 15-3 league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA).
