The Davis County Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Knoxville Panthers to 8 in the Mustangs league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerville for a South Central battle on Wednesday, June 18. Davis County will confront a Big Reds/Redettes team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Knoxville moves to 1-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Pella (Pella, IA) to confront the Dutch in a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 17. The Dutch come into the battle with a record of 8-8. Pella lost 17-0 in their recent league battle against Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA)
