The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) and the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), observed Exira-EHK's softball team prevail over Tri-Center by a tally of 8-0.

The Spartans (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 11-2 record. In their last bout, Riverside knocked off Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Tuesday, June 17. Tri-Center will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, IA).
