The Southeast Valley Jaguars baseball team (Gowrie, IA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA)

The Mustangs now hold a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host West Bend-Mallard for a Twin Lakes outing on Tuesday, June 18. Newell-Fonda will face a Wolverines team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-10.

Next, the Jaguars face the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, June 19. Southeast Valley will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Titans enter the outing with a 1-10 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA).
