In Monday's non-league contest, the Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), by a margin of 13-1.
With the triumph, Nevada moves its record to 6-16 on the year. The Cubs host Newton (Newton, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Tuesday, June 18. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 9-10. Newton lost 11-0 in their recent league contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA)
In their next game, the Rams play the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, June 18. Greene County will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record.
