Spectators at Monday's league match between the H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) and the host North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA), witnessed H-L-V's softball squad tip North Mahaska by a count of 4-3.

The Warriors now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Tama County for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 18. H-L-V will face a Trojans squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-17.

With the loss, North Mahaska moves to 5-11 on the season. The Warhawks travel to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA) to face the Hawks in a South Iowa Cedar match on Wednesday, June 19. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 8-12. Lynnville-Sully lost 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA)
