The West Marshall Trojans softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting South Hamilton Hawks to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Marshall improves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Trojans host Greene County (Jefferson, IA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Wednesday, June 19. The Rams come into the game with a record of 4-13.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, June 18. South Hamilton will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to North Union (Armstrong, IA).
