Spectators at Monday's league match between the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) and the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), witnessed Underwood's softball squad tip Tri-Center by a count of 14-7.

The Eagles now sport a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 18. Underwood will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

The Trojans (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league outing with a 12-13 record. In their last outing, Jefferson tipped Woodbury Central (Moville, IA), 14-1, in a non-league outing.
