In Tuesday's league game, the host Southeast Warren Warhawks baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Central Decatur Cardinals.
With the triumph, Southeast Warren moves its record to 9-5 on the season. The Warhawks host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, June 18. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 15-0. Pleasantville won 6-2 in their recent league contest against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA)
The Cardinals now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a Pride of Iowa contest on Thursday, June 19. Central Decatur will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Lenox (Lenox, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-7.
