The Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) baseball got by the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a Western Iowa test on Thursday, June 19. Underwood will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-5 league loss to Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
With the defeat, Tri-Center drops to 7-3 on the year. The Trojans host Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA) to play the Big Reds in a Western Iowa test on Friday, June 20. The Big Reds go into the test with a record of 3-9.
