The Creston Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 challenge, on Thursday, June 19. Creston will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 18-1 league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, IA).

The Mustangs (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys go into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Sidney was routed by Griswold (Griswold, IA), 16-0, in a league challenge.
