The Pleasant Valley Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Muscatine Muskies to 2 in the Spartans league win on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hempstead for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 18. Pleasant Valley will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Muscatine moves to 10-6 on the season. The Muskies host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 18. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 2-15. Keokuk lost 14-5 in their recent league battle against Washington (Washington, IA)
