The Underwood Eagles softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Tri-Center Trojans to 0 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a Western Iowa battle on Thursday, June 19. Underwood will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Tri-Center moves to 4-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 18. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 5-18. Jefferson won 12-4 in their recent league battle against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)
