The Notre Dame Nikes crushed the visiting Central Lee Hawks baseball team by a tally of 11-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Nikes now hold a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they host Regina for a non-league bout on Wednesday, June 19. Notre Dame will face a Regals team coming off a 14-13 league loss to West Branch (West Branch, IA). The Regals record now stands at 12-11.
Next, the Hawks face the Washington Demons (Washington, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, June 18. Central Lee will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Demons enter the bout with a 3-13 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA).
