The Wahlert Golden Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Maquoketa Cardinals to 1 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles (16-0) will now prepare for their match against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Wahawks go into the non-league match with a 5-20 record.
The Cardinals (3-14) will now prepare for their match against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 3-17 record. In their last match, Camanche was overwhelmed by North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 8-3, in a non-league match.
