Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davis County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 20.

With the loss, Centerville falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Big reds/redettes host Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to face the Saints in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 19. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 5-13. Melcher-Dallas lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA)
