With the triumph, Akron-Westfield improves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Westerners travel to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA) to play the Tigers in a War Eagle game on Friday, June 20. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 5-4. Trinity Christian lost 16-3 in their recent league game against Hinton (Hinton, IA)

The Royals now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, June 19.
