The Benton Bobcats overwhelmed the visiting South Tama County Trojans softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 20. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 8-2 league loss to Osage (Osage, IA).

The Trojans (1-14) will now prepare for their challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, East Marshall toppled Nevada (Nevada, IA), 19-0, in a non-league challenge.
