The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) and the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), observed Pocahontas's softball team prevail over South Central Calhoun by a tally of 17-2.

The Indians (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx go into the non-league bout with a 2-11 record. In their last bout, Webster City knocked off Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Titans clash with the East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Friday, June 20. South Central Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 12-2 league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
