The West Delaware Hawks overwhelmed the host Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Maquoketa Cardinals (Maquoketa, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 20. West Delaware will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA).
