Iowa High School Softball - West Monona bounces Lawton-Bronson

The West Monona Spartans softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lawton-Bronson Eagles to 0 in the Spartans league win on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridge View for a Western Valley battle on Thursday, June 20. West Monona will encounter a Raptors team coming off a 6-4 league win over Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Lawton-Bronson moves to 1-17 on the season. The Eagles travel to Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to encounter the Westerners in a non-league battle on Friday, June 21. The Westerners come into the battle with a record of 15-3.
