The Lincoln Railsplitters routed the visiting Waterloo East Trojans softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Railsplitters (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Scarlets go into the Alliance Conference - South battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Des Moines East was routed by Newton (Newton, IA), 11-3, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now possess a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to Mason City for a non-league battle on Thursday, June 20. Waterloo East will meet a Mohawks squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 7-12.
