The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA) and the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), saw Garner-Hayfield/Ventura's baseball team gain a win over North Iowa by a tally of 21-8.
The Cardinals (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Eagles enter the Top of Iowa - West battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, West Hancock was overwhelmed by Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA), 5-2, in a league battle.
