The Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) baseball the host Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), 7-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pella for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 20. Norwalk will clash with a Dutch team coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 15-4.
With the defeat, Winterset drops to 10-9 on the year. The Huskies travel to Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA) to clash with the Bluejays in a Raccoon River challenge on Monday, June 23. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
