The Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) softball routed the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA), 30-15 in Thursday's league outing.

The Sailors now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson for a North Iowa Cedar - Central outing on Monday, June 23. Columbus will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Aplington-Parkersburg moves to 3-17 on the season. The Falcons host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 25. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 16-7.
