In Thursday's league test, the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA), by a tally of 12-5.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, June 20. Martensdale-St. Mary's will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record.

The Tigers (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines go into the Pride of Iowa test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Nodaway Valley was routed by West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 10-2, in a non-league test.
