In Thursday's league match, the visiting Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Ridge View Raptors.
The (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles come into the Western Valley match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Lawton-Bronson notched a victory over Ridge View (Holstein, IA), 4-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Raptors confront the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) in a Western Valley match, on Thursday, June 19. Ridge View will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 10-4 record after their 6-4 league win over Woodbury Central (Moville, IA).
