The Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) softball nipped the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 8-7 in Thursday's league outing.

The Orabs now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux Center for a Siouxland outing on Friday, June 20. Sheldon will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 9-8 league loss to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Okoboji moves to 4-12 on the season. The Pioneers travel to West Lyon (Inwood, IA) to encounter the Wildcats in a Siouxland outing on Friday, June 20. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 17-0. West Lyon won 8-6 in their recent league outing against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA)
