The Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines to 1 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Valley for a Twin Lakes battle on Friday, June 20. Storm Lake St. Mary will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 12-2 league win over East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, West Bend-Mallard moves to 2-9 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to confront the E'Hawks in a Twin Lakes battle on Friday, June 20. The E'Hawks come into the battle with a record of 1-13.
